The North America Chapter Leaders workshop was a great learning and networking experience that was made more valuable by the direct and open discussions that took place with Global ISOC representatives and between the regional Chapter leaders.   The group hands-on deep dive sessions were extremely effective in prioritizing and analyzing the challenges faced by the Chapters and proposals on tackling those issues.  Topics of interest for the Leaders included:

• Membership Engagement
• Financial planning for Chapters
• How ISOC Chapters can leverage Global ISOC events, campaigns, content etc.
• ISOC Chapter collaboration with organizations like: ICANN, ARIN, IETF etc.

After the workshop I was motivated and excited with new ideas to support our Chapter. I was able to established better communication channels with Global ISOC and the Chapter leaders who attended from: Washington DC, New York, Quebec, Toronto and Colorado.
