The SF-Bay ISOC Chapter held its final event of 2016 on Wednesday, November 16, in San Francisco. Hosted by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), over 30 members and non-members gathered to hear presentations by Leah Symekher, Chapter President & Chair and Mark Buell, the Internet Society’s Regional Bureau Director for North America.
Keynote
The Keynote presentation on Shadow Regulation was delivered by EFF’s Senior Staff Attorney Mitch Stolz and Senior Global Policy Analyst Jeremy Malcolm. Mitch also gave an overview of his experience at the recent ICANN 57 Meeting in Hyderabad and talked about content regulation using the Domain Name System (DNS).
