“When you hear the word encryption, what comes to mind? Take a moment…”

That was the ask in our prior post (https://www.sfbayisoc.org/2024/09/21/encryption-matters/).

The Global Encryption Day event in San Francisco was a tremendous success, with an excellent turnout both in-person and virtually.  Participants in Track 1 gained hands-on experience in encryption technologies at Google Community Space, while Track 2 at Cloudflare featured thought-provoking discussions on the future of encryption.  We are deeply grateful to our sponsors Google, Cloudflare, RX-M, M42, CNCF, and Frontegg—for their support, and to all our speakers and volunteers for making the event memorable.  The SF Bay ISOC Chapter is excited to continue our mission of promoting encryption and privacy.  Stay tuned for more events and ways to get involved!
